What is Foot Reflexology?
Foot reflexology is a form of both body work and energy work. Applying pressure and alternating strokes to the parts of the foot that "reflect" other parts of the body, we affect and balance the energy field. In my years of doing both massage and reflexology, I've noticed people tend to find that reflexology goes deeper. In a perfect world, all massage therapists would also be reflexologists, as the two forms complement each other beautifully.
I studied reflexology with Roz Zollinger, creator of the BodySystems method of reflexology, in Atlanta, and went on to teach massage and reflexology with her.
In the Foot Reflexology with Energy Work session, you need only take off your shoes and socks and then lie comfortably on the massage table. This session is a perfect introduction to bodywork for those who may be shy about removing clothing.
Your session begins with vibrational aromatherapy, using aromatherapy inhalers and chakra pillows, to balance the chakras. We then move to your feet, with the application of ancient healing essential oils , followed by massage and gentle stretching. We follow with a complete foot reflexology session, working all of the body systems reflected in your feet, one system at a time, beginning with your nervous system.
Your feet are then wrapped in warm, moist towels.
We then do hands on energy work, where you will receive targeted energy work, including cranio-sacral balancing techniques.
Your session ends with a scalp and ear massage, followed by an aromatherapy facial mist.
Reflexology with Energy Work is $90 for a 60 minute session. A series of Reflexology with Energy Work sessions is $450 for six hours
